The DCDMC management team
Sylvain Deslandes has been the managing partner at DCDM Consulting since 1999. Originally from France, he is now based in Mauritius. He has extensive experience in leading complex projects and program implementations in various industry sectors. In recent years, Sylvain has been developing the DCDM Consulting Outsourcing services in Mauritius.
Su Lin Ong joined DCDM Consulting in 2000. She is a Chartered Accountant by profession and has been in Systems Consulting for over 20 years. She had worked in London for several years before moving to Mauritius. With her strong background in finance and accounting she has overseen the growth of the ERP team at DCDM Consulting and been instrumental in building successful partnerships with the leading ERP suppliers. She is currently responsible for Business Development for consulting services in the Indian Ocean and offshore services with the UK.
Feizal Jownally has worked at DCDM Consulting since 1990 and has been a partner since 2001. He has extensive experience in the banking and financial services sectors and has been responsible for most of the major banking contracts undertaken at DCDM Consulting. Today he spends most of his time in East Africa as he focuses on further developing the DCDM Consulting brand in East Africa.
Hugues Sauzier joined DCDM Consulting in 1998 and has been a partner since 2007. He holds a degree in Computer Science and a Masters in Business Administration. During his career at DCDM Consulting, Hugues has developed and implemented large scale applications, especially in the Government sector. Hugues has worked in Botswana for more than ten years and is currently based in our office there. He is responsible for the development of the DCDMC brand in Southern Africa.
The Team
DCDM Consulting has 150 professional staff members based at the main office in Port Louis, and at the regional office in Gaborone, Botswana. We are an enthusiastic team, committed to helping our clients to be more successful and improve their Business Operational and Human performance.
Our team has been recruited from various backgrounds, ensuring DCDM Consulting has the right mix of business professionals and IT professionals, ready to provide the best team for our clients. All our Mauritian staff members are fluent in both French and English.
DCDM Consulting also recognises the importance of Continuing Professional Development and encourages ongoing education, training and worldwide recognized certification.
As a result of our recruitment and staff development policies, we have a rich and diverse team who can boast the following qualifications and certifications;
The majority of the team holds a degree in a computing related or a business related discipline. In addition a fifth of employees hold a higher qualification of either a master’s degree (MBA, MSC Project management, MSC Computer Science) or are qualified accountants (ACA, ACCA, CIMA).
Half of all our staff holds one or more additional, product specific certifications (mostly in MS Business Solution Navision, SAP Business One, SAP Business Suite, Oracle Certified Professional, Oracle Certified Associate, Sun Certified Java Professional, Novell Certified Linux Professional ).
Many staff members continue to study for further qualifications and DCDM Consulting regularly arranges for in-house trainings to encourage employees to gain recognised certifications and keep abreast of technology trends.
